TJ Associates Printing - Building Expansion <br />July 1,2005 <br />Revised: July 22, 2005 <br />Page 3 <br />drains to a regional pond and then to a storm sewer which discharges to the Mississippi River. <br />The only additional impervious surface added by this expansion is 10,320 square feet of building <br />since the parking lot to serve this addition has already been constructed. <br /> <br />However, staff has concerns over whether the plan will aggravate drainage on adjacent property. <br />Several spot elevations on the property to the northwest are lower than the flanged end section <br />which accepts the drainage from this site. Staff will field-verify whether this area is c. urrently <br />draining onto the subject property. Provisions must also be made to insure that drainage from the <br />building scuppers does not spill onto the adjacent property. <br /> <br />REU Number: The Residential Equivalent Unit (REU) will determine the amount this <br />development will pay to the City's storm water utilities. This number is based upon the amount <br />ot' impervious area of the site, and can be calculated when information on the new amount of <br />impervious surface on the site is provided to the City. <br /> <br />The City Council will be meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at the Ramsey Fire <br />Station, 15050 Armstrong Blvd., to review the proposed site plan.
