· New report forms are prepared for the beginning of the year. <br /> <br />MEDICAL/SCBA <br /> <br />Chris Weiss reviewed medical/SCBA supplies. <br /> <br />,, The defibrillator batteries were changed and inspected. <br /> <br />· The medical bags now have a disposable razor. <br /> <br /> Pocket masks arein. <br /> <br />· A leak in hose fitting was repaired in Tanker Three. <br /> <br />· SCBA bottles and tanks were inspected and are in working order. <br /> <br /> The Department would like to purchase a flow tester. <br /> <br />,, The Department needs to purchase a couple extra bags for the biohazard can. The Police <br /> Department will dispose of them. <br /> <br />STATION MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />· Al LaTour's group has station maintenance this month. <br /> <br />Duty officers for November will be Tom Hoxter and Chris Weiss. Tom will take the weekend of <br />November 7th for popular week end coverage. <br /> <br />A Fire Board meeting will be scheduled to discuss land acquisition. <br /> <br />Chris Weiss will look into the purchase of heavier jackets. He will look at local venders that also <br />provide shirts, and give a report at the November business meeting. <br /> <br />STORM TEAMS REVIEW <br /> <br />· The Department will keep the same procedure of using Company A & B. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br />~ Dean passed out handouts from NIOSH for the officers to review for interest in subscribing. <br /> The magazine looks at deaths that occur on duty. It investigates what causes the death in <br /> timeline order.
