(;otmcilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING METAL ROOFING CONTRACT FOR <br /> CONSTRUCTION OF NEW RAMSEY MUNICIPAL CENTER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized bidding for the new Ramsey <br />Municipal Center on March 22ha, 2005; and <br /> <br /> WHEP, EAS, the bid date for the construction contracts was May 5th, 2005; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, on May 24th, 2005 Council rejected the bids for RM-3072 Metal Roofing <br />t~nd aulhorized re-bidding for this division; and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, three sealed bids were received and opened at Ramsey City Hall on <br />rl'hursday, September 8th at 2:30 p.m. for Metal Roofing; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, the base bid and the bid alternate for the Zinc Alloy roofing material is well <br />wilhin thc established budget for this bid division and based upon recommendation of BKV <br />(h-oup Architects, 3 D/I Construction Managers and staff, the Zinc Alloy alternate is desired. <br /> <br /> NOW Tt-IEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />I~.AMSI';Y, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> ~l'hat the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes a contract for the metal <br /> roofing construction of the new Ramsey Municipal Center with the following <br /> contractor for the amount stated: <br /> M.
