Absent: Commissioner Rolfe. <br /> <br />Case #4: Public Hearing on the 2002-2006 Parks Capital Improvement Plan <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Olds, seconded by Chairperson Cook, to close the regular meeting of <br />the Park and Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Cook, Commissioners Olds, Johns, LaMere, and <br />Ostrum. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Rolfe. <br /> <br />Chairperson Cook opened the Public Hearing. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johns, seconded by Commissioner Ostrum, to close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Cook, Commissioners Johns, Ostrum, LaMere, and <br />Olds. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Rolfe. <br /> <br />Chairperson Cook closed the public hearing at 7:14 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Ostrum, seconded by Commissioner Olds, to reopen the regular <br />meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Cook, Commissioners Ostrum, Olds, Johns, and <br />LaMere. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Rolfe. <br /> <br />Chairperson Cook called the regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission to order at <br />7:14 p.m. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos explained this 5-year plan is nearly identical to the plan <br />presented at the September meeting. He noted the ledger identifies the funding source, where the <br />other documents do not. He stated that the second year of the plan is fairly accurate. In <br />subsequent years, it is likely that some items will be changed, and the plan may vary slightly. He <br />summarized the projects and the funding sources. He stated that currently, there is no scheduled <br />appearance before the Council for the Capital Improvement Plan, however it is expected to be in <br />November. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johns, seconded by Commissioner LaMere, to recommend City <br />Council adopt the 2002-2006 Parks Capital Improvement Plan as presented. <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commission/October 10, 2001 <br /> Page 5 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
