Commissioner Brauer asked about the comment in the Staff report concerning the Fire <br />l)epartment working with the owner. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Frolik indicated that the Fire Department had a <br />concern about getting to all of the areas of the greenhouses, adding that there was an incident this <br />year. She stated Staff wanted to solidify that the applicant would work with the Fire Department <br />on this concern. She indicated that the Fire Chief reviewed it and agrees. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy to recommend City Council <br />adt~pt findings of fact favorable to the applicant and approve the request for an amended <br />Conditional Use Permit for the Green Valley Greenhouse. <br /> <br />M(Ition carried. She indicated that the proposed 1200 square foot building will <br />¢:ausc thc property to exceed its maximum allowable square footage by 416 feet. <br /> <br />Public ltcaring <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt opened the public hearing at 7:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy to close the public hearing at <br />7:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
