Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-12-xxx <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CANCELLATION OF THE LAST COUNCIL <br />MEETING FOR DECEMBER 2005, AND TO AUTHORIZE MAYOR GAMEC TO <br />REVIEW THE CITY'S BILLS LIST FOR PAYMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been customary for the City Council to cancel their last <br />meeting in December due to the holidays; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, if the last meeting of the year is canceled, it becomes necessary for a <br />member of the Council be appointed by the rest of the City Council to approve the bills <br />list for payment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mayor Gamec has offered to review the list of bills with the Finance <br />Officer for the year end and authorize payment of same on behalf of the City Council. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the regular meeting of the City Council originally scheduled for Tuesday, <br />December 27, 2005, has been officially canceled. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That Mayor Gamec is hereby authorized to approve the bills list on behalf of <br />the City Council. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by, <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 13th day of December, 2005. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />-298- <br /> <br /> <br />
