Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION GRANTING A LEAVE OF ABSENCE <br /> TO A CITY EMPLOYEE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Amy Geisler, Planning Associate, has requested seven weeks of <br />leave without pay to care for her child; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the seven weeks of leave without pay will expire on March 3, 2006; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Geisler will not accrue paid leave and the City will not make its <br />regular contribution to health and basic life insurance premiums during the period of <br />leave without pay. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to grant seven weeks of leave without pay to Amy Geisler to care <br />for her child. The seven weeks of leave will expire on March 3, 2006. Ms. Geisler will <br />not accrue paid leave during the seven weeks of leave without pay and the City will not <br />make its regular contribution to health and basic life insurance premiums during this <br />seven week period. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the l0th day of January 2006. <br /> <br />-386- <br /> <br />G:~Administration~HumanRcsources~Leav¢\Leave of Absence\Geisler Jan 2006.doc <br /> <br /> <br />
