The applicant would also like to lay bituminous pavement over a part of <br />the existing volleyball courts to facilitate basketball and roller hockey in the summer and broom <br />ball and boot hockey in the winter. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kociscak, seconded by Commissioner Johnson, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Kociscak, Johnson, <br />Dempsey, and Wivoda. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Jensen and Nixt. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to order at <br />7:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Kociscak, to adopt findings of <br />fact # PC-00-001 and recommend that City Council adopt like findings of fact relating to the <br />request for a conditional use permit amendment from Diamonds Sports Bar & Grill. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Commissioner Wivoda inquired if there will be some type of barrier for the <br />splat ball course. Gary Gruber, Diamonds Sports Bar & Grill, replied that a netting system will <br />be placed around the course. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Johnson, Kociscak, <br />Dempsey, and Wivoda. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Jensen and Nixt. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Dempsey, to recommend that <br />City Council approve the request for a conditional use permit amendment from Diamonds Sports <br />Bar & Grill, Inc., based on the findings of fact, and adopt a resolution declaring the terms as <br />proposed. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Johnson, Dempsey, <br />Kociscak, and Wivoda. Voting No: None.
