Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 8:48 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Vice-Chairperson Kociscak called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to order <br />at 8:48 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wivoda stated that Section 9.15.08 subdivision c addresses the setback <br />requirements which is already addressed in section 9.15.03 and questioned if it is necessary in <br />both places. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik replied that it should be removed from section 9.15.03. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wivoda stated that it is relatively common for TV towers and amateur towers to <br />be against the house and questioned if they want to exclude that type of use. <br /> <br />Commissioner Reeve stated that if the setback requirement is 1.5 times the height of the tower, <br />then a TV antenna or amateur radio antenna would not fit on a residential property that has a <br />home on it. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik noted that private TV antennas and amateur towers are <br />exempt from that setback requirement. She inquired if the proposed setback requirement should <br />be from neighboring homes or the house on the property. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wivoda replied that he felt the setback should be from neighboring homes. <br /> <br />Vice-Chairperson Kociscak inquired if there should be a minimum setback requirement for the <br />home on the property. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/October 3, 2000 <br /> Page 12 of 16 <br /> <br /> <br />
