Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Vice-Chairperson Kociscak, Commissioners Dempsey, Wivoda, <br />Griffiths, and Reeve. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:51 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Vice-Chairperson Kociscak called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to order <br />at 7:51 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Dempsey stated that there seems to be a lot of other code concerns that did not <br />pertain to Ms. Ross's request in the letters received from neighbors and staff should follow up <br />with the residents. <br /> <br />Commissioner Griffiths noted that the conditional use permit requires that the dogs must be <br />brought inside by 8:00 p.m. and the letter states 10:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Ms. Ross replied that she has agreed to the 8:00 p.m. time. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Dempsey, seconded by Vice-Chairperson Kociscak, to amend finding <br />of fact # 14 to read "That the proposed use could substantially adversely impair...". <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Vice-Chairperson Kociscak, Commissioners Dempsey, Griffiths, <br />Reeve, and Wivoda. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Dempsey, seconded by Commissioner Wivoda, to recommend that <br />City Council adopt Findings of Fact relating to Amy Ross's request for a conditional use permit <br />for a private dog kennel for six adult dogs. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Vice-Chairperson Kociscak, Commissioners Dempsey, Wivoda, <br />Griffiths, and Reeve. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Dempsey, seconded by Commissioner Wivoda, to recommend that <br />City Council approve Mrs. Ross's request for a conditional use permit to maintain six adult dogs <br />at 6020 151 st Lane NW, based on the findings of fact. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Vice-Chairperson Kociscak, Commissioners Dempsey, Wivoda, <br />Griffiths, and Reeve. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Request to Rezone Certain Property from I-Industrial to B-2 Business; Case <br />of The Menkveld Company and Casey's General Stores, Inc. <br /> <br />Vice-Chairperson Kociscak closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at <br />7:58 p.m. in order to conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/October 3, 2000 <br /> Page 8 of 16 <br /> <br /> <br />
