Mr. Mitchell stated he is not a structural engineer and cannot answer that question. He stated <br />four carriers has been their maximum but he will get that answer for the Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Landowski stated he flew back from Arizona to attend this meeting but many of the <br />neighbors were not aware of this meeting and the ones in attendance were called and notified. <br />He stated he will not buy the two properties he is considering buying if the tower is constructed <br />and he will not live in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Councilmember Connolly asked how far apart the 75 foot towers must be. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated all towers must be one-half mile apart. She <br />stated the public hearing was held in January, and she did send notice to the residents who <br />attended that meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson noted the resolution before the Council as recommended by the <br />Planning Commission is in opposition and supports a denial. She read the findings of fact <br />determined and recommended by the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated the findings do show the truth and conditions of it but the question is denial <br />or approval of the tower. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated she and the Planning Commission overlooked <br />item #22 when amending the findings of fact and it should be amended to indicate they are <br />providing fencing and landscaping in the revised site plan. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson stated her understanding is that Mn/DOT did not support access from <br />Highway #47. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated that is correct and finding of fact #14 would <br />need to be updated. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman noted finding of fact #4 should indicate "4 in 40." <br /> <br />Ms. Bocian stated they did question findings of fact #15 and #17 that the proposed use will <br />substantially impact the property values. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich noted the public input has been closed. He stated Councilmember <br />Anderson has properly pointed out the negative findings which would have to be readdressed if <br />the Council is inclined to approve the request. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated he does not want to give up his cellular telephone and no one <br />else does either. He stated that it is fortunate someone was found that does not mind a tower <br />being in their yard but the others do not like it.
