2) Northstar Corridor Rail Demonstration <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that the Northstar Corridor Commuter Rail Project is hosting a <br />commuter rail demonstration event on August 10, 2000. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec suggested inviting businesses along the rail corridor to see if they would be <br />interested in attending the demonstration. <br /> <br />3) Cable Franchise <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that negotiations have improved and they have a tentative <br />agreement that is being recorded. The Council should be viewing the agreement in the near <br />future. <br /> <br />4) National Night Out <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that National Night Out is on August 1, 2000. <br /> <br />ADJORNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Connolly, and <br />Zimmerman.
