Mr. Root's business would take place in the accessory <br />structure. <br /> <br />Mr. Root stated that he has been operating his business from his home for <br />18 years and he has presented letters from his neighbors stating they have <br />no opposition to the business continuing at that looation. He also noted <br />that his property is very well screened by trees. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Bawden to <br />adopt Findings of Fact 0229 relating to Mr. Gerald Root's request for a <br />conditional use permit, amended as follows: <br /> <br />Item #13 should indicate that the proposed use is not harmonious with <br />the objectives of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Item #15 should indicate that the use will not be hazardous or <br />disturbing to existing neighboring uses only. <br /> <br />Add Item #19 to indicate that the proposed use does not comply with <br />City Code Section 170.015I, Home Occupations, regarding the use being <br />limited to the private dwelling and not exceeding 20% of the living <br />space. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
