Mayor Reimann stated that Mr. Root's case is different from Mr. Eason's in <br />that the business does have an 18 year history and Mr. Root is the owner of <br />the property on which the subject activity will take place. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Bawden and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />approve Mr. Root's request for a conditional use permit with the permit <br />amended as follows: <br /> <br />The 3rd paragraph should delete language indicating that the permit is <br />perpetual in duration. <br /> <br />Delete Item ~3. <br /> <br />Amend Item #7 to indicate that the conditional use permit shall expire <br />upon further subdivision of the 5 acre parcel. <br /> <br />Add an item to indicate that employees of the business shall be <br />limited to Mr. Gerald Root. <br /> <br />Add an item to indicate that the permit holder agrees that the permit <br />is issued in accord with the general provisions of City Code Section <br />170.015I, Home Occupations. <br /> <br />Add an item to indicate that no business sign shall be permitted <br />unless authorized by sign regulations for Residential Districts. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Bawden. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~11 ; Contract Award For Well At Central Park Park Center: <br /> <br />Mr. Otto stated that the receiving of bids by October 11 may have been <br />affected by the Columbus Day Holiday and suggested that Council table <br />action on awarding the contract until the next regular Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />table receiving bids and awarding contract for the well at the Central Park <br />Park Center. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Bawden. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~12; Adopt 1989 Citv Budget: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley presented a resolution to adopt the 1989 budget that is based <br />Council consensus. <br /> <br />Motion by Coun¢ilmember DeLuca and seconded by Couneilmember Bawden to <br />adopt Resolution ~88-198 establishing the City budget for 1989. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
