Engineering Services <br />We will be the City's engineering representative during the construction of the sanitary sewer and <br />watermains project. The following construction engineering services shall be provided: <br /> <br />· Project administration and monthly construction observation visits. <br /> <br />· Attendance at preconstmction conference and monthly construction progress meetings and <br /> disa/bution of meeting notes. <br /> <br />· Response to contractor's questions regarding interpretation of and clarification of contract <br /> drawings; issuance of field orders, work directive changes and request for proposals for changes <br /> to the construction contract. <br /> <br />· Review of change order proposal requests; review of shop drawings and distribution of shop <br /> drawings. <br /> <br />· Coordination of material testing requirements with a material testing company. <br /> <br />· Review of contractor payment requests. <br /> <br />· Conduct final inspection and recommendations for final acceptance to the City. <br /> <br />· Preparation of record drawings at the completion of the project. <br /> <br />· Conduct post-construction inspection. <br /> <br />SCHEDULE OF FEES <br /> <br />We would perform the construction engineering services described in the scope of services section based <br />on our standard hourly rate fee schedule with a not-to-exceed limit of $475,000. Our 2006 Hourly <br />Schedule of Fees is attached for your reference.
