CASE #4: RANDY ELOFSON REGARDING BUILDING PERMIT ON MISSISSIPPI <br /> <br />CASE #5: <br /> <br />RIVER: <br /> <br />Mr. Randy Elofson wants to construct a house on a 12-acre <br />parcel of land that is zoned B-1 which abutts Highway #10 <br />and the Mississippi River. Enclosure (D2-d) contains a <br />map showing the location of said parcel of land (Plat 89234, <br />Parcel 5910) where Mr. Elofson wan~sto construct the house. <br /> <br />The Environmental Quality Board, State of Minnesota will <br />be reviewing the plan% as this is located in the critical <br />rivers area. <br /> <br />Council Action: Council action will be to only note that <br />a house is being constructed in B-1 zoning. However, accord- <br />ing to our zoning ordinance, this is an acceptable use. <br /> <br />ISSUANCE OF EXCAVATING LICENSE REQUEST; CASE OF MARK STARR, <br /> <br />7841 - 151ST LANE NW: <br /> <br />Council, at their July 28, 1981 meeting, did not approve of <br />this license for issuance due to the fact that his business <br />address was the same as his home address. <br /> <br />I made a special visit to the above address on August 11, 1981 <br />and even though M~. Start uses his home as his business add~ess, <br />there is absolutely no equipment parked at his premises. His <br />home is very attractive and extremely well-malntalned as a <br />residential dwelling. I wish other Ramsey citizens would try <br />to maintain their residence as well as M~. Start. It should <br />be noted that the City has also previously approved granting <br />an excavating license to Mm.
