Resident asked if financing is a citizen choice. Mayor Gamec replied no, the City Council.decides. Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to close the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Sorteberg, Councilman Reimann, Councilman Cox and Councilwoman Van Wagner. Voting no: None. The public hearing was closed at 9:40 P.M. Mayor Gamec stated the public hearings on Flintwood Hills, Project #81 -16 and Riverside, Project #81 -17 would not be addressed tonight as the City needs to.look at the drainage problems. VIII. Seal Coating Hall Dover Acres Project #81 -15 These public hearings were consolidated.,: City Engineer Raatikka discussed the proposed consideration of seal coating for the above mentioned additions. Mayor Gamec.defined the...seal.coating process and general fund pickup. Mayor Gamec asked for citizen input. Citizen Charles Quady, 15630 Erkium, came before..the Council and asked how long the seal coating lasts. Mayor Gamec stated approximately 5 years average,, however we are really 6--7 years. Citizen Mr. Czerwonka, 15835 Radium came before the Council and stated some patch work was attempted and poorly done. Citizen Bruce Schluetter came before the Council and stated he would like to know the difference in cost of grading gravel roads and seal coating blacktop and would natural gas coming in the area affect this. Mayor Gamec stated most.of the time it does not affect the street. Mr. Schluetter asked If the little area between Salish cul -de -sac and the park was not included in proposal.
