Councilman Cox read the Warners complaint letter and said it was quite ex- <br />plicit. Councilman Reimann said he feels a na~e on the mailb6x would be <br />more than sufficient. Councilman Mickelson said the people couldn't tell <br />which mailbox belongs to which home. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting no None. <br /> <br />INFOrmATIONAL <br /> <br />Chief Auspos described the community Bicycle Safety Grants and asked if the <br />City wants to pursue this type of activity. Mayor Gamec said this should be <br />tu~rned over to the Park Department for its review. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle described the Metro Council letter regarding re- <br />visions to Housing Policy 39. Councilman Sorteberg said he would review this <br />and report back to the City Council at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mdckelson and seconded by ~ayor Gamec to table this <br />matter until the next meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting no None. <br /> <br />PRICE QUOTES ON ASPHALT KETTLE <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to adopt Reso- <br />lution #80-149b accepting the bid from Steppe Manufacturing Company for an <br />asphalt kettle at a price of $1,255.00. <br /> <br />Motion carried.. There was no formal action. <br /> <br />ADDENDUM TO OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />RA~EY CRITICAL ARFA PLAN <br /> <br />There was no action taken on this as it was informational only. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec pointed out the wetlands map posted in the Council Chambers. <br />He said there were certain inaccuracies in the map and that City Engineer <br />Raatikka and Street Superintendent Mevissen were amending the problems. <br /> <br />PARTIAL PAYMENTS ON ]~PROVEMENT PROJECTS <br /> <br />Motion by Cou~citm=nM~ickelson and seconded by Councilman Re~m~=n to approve <br />partial payment of the projects as outlined in the City Engineer's letter. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
