TO: City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: City Attorney <br /> <br />DATE: November 19, 1980 <br /> <br />RE: Lot 7 Block 2 Klemlsh Addition <br /> <br />Prior to Klemish Addition being platted the City issued to certain indi- <br />viduals using a metes and bounds description for Sodium Street. The legal <br />descriptions for Sodiumwas inaccurate according to an attorney title <br />opinion and he says it placed a cloud on the title of Lot 7 Block 2 Klemlsh <br />Addition. <br /> <br />Therefore, in order to clear up this matter, the attorney who represents <br />the lot buyer is requesting that the City execute a quit claim deed to the <br />lot. Such a deed will in no way affect the City!s title to Sodium Street <br />as it is presently platted. You are, therefore, requested to authorize <br />the Mayor to execute a quit claim deed from the City to D~K, Inc., a <br />Minnesota Corporation for Lot 7 Block 2 K~enish Addition. I will make <br />sure the deed does not include the City's drainage and utility easement <br />on the lot. <br /> <br />WKG:sb <br /> <br /> <br />
