Mayor and City Council City of Ramsey November 25, 1980 Page Two Airport Stud~: The surveying to establish ground control has been completed and Mark Hurd Aerial Surveys is presently preparing a contour map. Project is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. e e 1980 Street Projects: a. Projects 80-1, 2, 3, 4, 6, & 8 have been completed with the exception of minor repairs and clean-up. b. Projects 80-9, 10, 11, 12 & 14 have been completed with the ex- ception of minor repairs and clean-up. c. 1980 MAS Project (153rd Avenue N.W.): This project has been completed and final payment approval, was made at the November 10, 1980 council meeting. d. Tungsten Street Overlay and Catch Basin: The project has been completed with the exception of final grading and clean-up. e. Projects 80-15 and 16 have been paved and final restoration is scheduled for next spring. Rum River Bridge Crossing: We have submitted the revised Environmental Assessment on this project to Anoka County and they plan to submit it to MN/DOT on November 26, 1980. We are hopeful that the revised environmental assessment will establish findings of no significant impact. CAB Interceptor: We have been in contact with the MWCC and it is our understanding that the CAB has been deleted from the 1981 budget. We have also heard rumors that with the completion of the Anoka Interceptor that a majority of the surplus capacity in the Anoka Plant will be used by the City of Anoka and Ramsey will get little if any capacity along the Highway 10 corridor until the CAB is built. It also appears that the Ramsey second connection will be delayed beyond 1985. We would recommend that if the City of Ramsey is serious about receiving sewer service that they get together with the CAB communities and put some pressure on the Met Council. Ramse¥ Facilities Plan: I have contacted Jim Barton on this project and he first indicated that he didn't think Ramsey would be required to complete a facility plan. However, in following up the project with MPCA he found they had lost our correspondence from last January and I was requested to resubmit information on on-site wastewater disposal systems in Ramsey. Since resubmittal of'the information, I have contacted Dave Johnson from MPCA and he stated Ramsey would not be required to do a facility plan.
