C~SE #8: CASE #9: CABLE TV: The following will require Council review and action: a) Cable TV Survey on Ramsey Con~nunity Needs Assessment - Enclosure (D2-d) contains the Ramsey Community Need Assessment. We mailed out approximately 2300 surveys and received back 1204 surveys which represents 52.3278% response from the citizens in regards to this survey. The survey will be published in the local paper - also a copy will be posted in the City Hall. Enclosure (D2-e) contains a copy of the resolution Council will have to adopt if they are satisfied with the response to the assessment needs. b) Cable Television Lobbyist Policy of the City of Ramsey - It is recommended by the Anoka Champlin Ramsey Cable Commission that each City Council adept the policy as con- tained in enclosure (D2-f). Council Action: Your action will be as follows on this case: a) Council action required on sub paragraph (a) which would be to adopt the resolution which is contained in enclosure (D2-e) providing you are satisfied with the results of the survey. b) Council action required on sub paragraph (b) to the reso- lution contained in enclosure (D2-f) which is in regards to a lobbyist policy. METRO COUNCIL PUBLIC H_EARING ON REVISION OF HOUSING POLICY #39: Council at its regular meeting of November 10, 1980 tabled action on this case until this meeting. Please refer to your agenda dated November 10, 1980 as it was submitted to you as an addendum to the Council agenda. Comments: Council should review the contents of above said document which was submitted to you at your November 10, 1980 and submit comments on it. Sometime down the pike we are going to be working with that document and it should contain Ramsey's input. Council Action: Your action will be as follows: a) Have a representative of the City of B~m2ey transmit your thoughts to the public hearing which will be held at 7:00 P.M., December 11, 1980 in the Metro Council Chambers, St. Paul.
