HF100 NINTH ENGROSSMENT REVISOR BD 1­10100-9 <br />24.1 (7) proposed legislative changes; <br />24.2 (8) information on the adverse effects of second-hand smoke from any cannabis flower, <br />24.3 cannabis products, and hemp -derived consumer products that are consumed by combustion <br />24.4 or vaporization of the product and inhalation of smoke, aerosol, or vapor from the product; <br />24.5 and <br />24.6 (9) recommendations for levels of funding for: <br />24.7 (i) a coordinated education program to address and raise public awareness about the top <br />24.8 three adverse health effects, as determined by the commissioner of health, associated with <br />24.9 the use of cannabis flower, cannabis products, lower -potency hemp edibles, or hemp -derived <br />24.10 consumer products by individuals under 21 years of age; <br />24.11 (ii) a coordinated education program to educate pregnant women, breastfeeding women, <br />24.12 and women who may become pregnant on the adverse health effects of cannabis flower, <br />24.13 cannabis products, lower -potency hemp edibles, or hemp -derived consumer products; <br />24.14 (iii) training, technical assistance, and educational materials for home visiting programs <br />24.15 and Tribal home visiting programs regarding safe and unsafe use of cannabis flower, cannabis <br />24.16 products, lower -potency he edibles, or hemp -derived consumer products in homes with <br />24.17 infants and young children; <br />24.18 (iv) model programs to educate middle school and high school students on the health <br />24.19 effects on children and adolescents of the use of cannabis flower, cannabis products, <br />24.20 lower -potency hemp edibles, hemp -derived consumer products, and other intoxicating or <br />24.21 controlled substances: <br />24.22 (v) grants issued through the CanTrain, CanNavigate, CanStartup, and CanGrow <br />24.23 programs; <br />24.24 (vi) grants to organizations for community development in social equity communities <br />24.25 through the CanRenew program; <br />24.26 (vii) training of peace officers and law enforcement agencies on changes to laws involving <br />24.27 cannabis flower, cannabis products, lower -potency hemp edibles, and hemp -derived consumer <br />24.28 products, and the law's impact on searches and seizures; <br />24.29 (viii) training of peace officers to increase the number of drug recognition experts; <br />24.30 (ix) training of peace officers on the cultural uses of sage and distinguishing use of sage <br />24.31 from the use of cannabis flower, including whether the Board of Peace Officer Standards <br />24.32 and Training should approve or develop training materials; <br />Article 1 Sec. 4. 24 <br />
