HF100 NINTH ENGROSSMENT REVISOR BD 1-10100-9 <br />96.1 Subd. 4. Production of consumer products. (a) A lower -potency hemp edible <br />96.2 manufacturer that produces lower -potency hemp edibles must obtain an edible cannabinoid <br />96.3 product handler endorsement from the office. <br />96.4 (b) All areas within the premises of a lower -potency hemp edible manufacturer used for <br />96.5 producing lower -potency hemp edibles must meet the sanitary standards specified in rules <br />96.6 adopted by the office. <br />96.7 (c) A lower -potency hemp edible manufacturer may only add chemicals or compounds <br />96.8 approved by the office to hemp concentrate or artificially derived cannabinoids. <br />96.9 (d) Upon the sale of any lower -potency hemp edible to a cannabis business or hemp <br />96.io business, a lower -potency hemp edible manufacturer must provide a statement to the buyer <br />96.11 that discloses the product's ingredients, including but not limited to any chemicals or <br />96.12 compounds and any major food allergens declared by name. <br />96.13 (e) A lower-Dotencv hemD edible manufacturer shall not add anv artificially derived <br />96.14 cannabinoid, hemp plant part, or hemp concentrate to a product if the manufacturer of the <br />96.15 product holds a trademark to the product's name, except that a lower -potency hemp edible <br />96.16 manufacturer may use a trademarked food product if the manufacturer uses the product as <br />96.17 a component or as part of a recipe and if the lower -potency hemp edible manufacturer does <br />96.18 not state or advertise to the customer that the final retail lower-Dotencv hemb edible contains <br />96.19 a trademarked food Droduct. <br />96.20 (f) A lower -potency hemp edible manufacturer shall not add any cannabis flower, <br />96.21 cannabis concentrate, or cannabinoid derived from cannabis flower or cannabis concentrate <br />96.22 to a product. <br />96.23 Subd. 5. Transportation of hemp concentrate, artificially derived cannabinoids, <br />96.24 and lower -potency hemp edibles. (a) A lower -potency hemp edible manufacturer may <br />96.25 transport hemp concentrate, artificially derived cannabinoids, and lower -potency hemp <br />96.26 edibles on public roadways provided: <br />96.27 (1) the artificially derived cannabinoids, hemp concentrate, or lower -potency hemp <br />96.28 edibles are in a locked, safe, and secure storage compartment that is part of the motor vehicle <br />96.29 or in a locked storage container that has a separate key or combination pad; <br />96.30 (2) the artificially derived cannabinoids, hemp concentrate, or lower -potency hemp <br />96.31 edibles are packaged in tamper -evident containers that are not visible or recognizable from <br />96.32 outside the transporting vehicle, <br />Article 1 Sec. 45. 96 <br />
