HF100 NINTH ENGROSSMENT REVISOR BD 1-10100-9 <br />102.1 Subd. 3. Registered medical cannabis manufacturers. (a) As used in this subdivision, <br />102.2 "medical cannabis manufacturer" means either of the two in -state manufacturers of medical <br />102.3 cannabis registered with the commissioner of health pursuant to section 152.25 as of July <br />102.4 1, 2023. <br />102.5 (b) Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the registration or reregistration period of <br />102.6 a medical cannabis manufacturer expires on July 1, 2024. <br />102.E EFFECTIVE DATE. This section is effective January 1, 2024. <br />102.8 Sec. 48. [342.48] MEDICAL CANNABIS BUSINESS APPLICATIONS. <br />102.9 In addition to the information required to be submitted under section 342.14, subdivision <br />102.10 1, and rules adopted pursuant to that section, a person, cooperative, or business seeking a <br />102.11 medical cannabis business license must submit the following information in a form approved <br />102.12 by the office: <br />102.13 (1) for medical cannabis cultivator license applicants: <br />102.14 (i) an operating plan demonstrating the proposed size and layout of the cultivation facility; <br />102.15 plans for wastewater and waste disposal for the cultivation facility; plans for providing <br />102.16 electricity, water, and other utilities necessary for the normal operation of the cultivation <br />102.17 facility; and plans for compliance with applicable building code and federal and state <br />102.18 environmental and workplace safety requirements; <br />102.19 (ii) a cultivation blan demonstrating the brobosed size and lavout of the cultivation <br />102.20 facility that will be used exclusively for cultivation for medical cannabis, including the total <br />102.21 amount of plant canopy; and <br />102.22 (iii) evidence that the business will comply with the applicable operation requirements <br />102.23 for the license being sought; <br />102.24 (2) for medical cannabis processor license applicants: <br />102.25 (i) an operating plan demonstrating the proposed layout of the facility, including a <br />102.26 diagram of ventilation and filtration systems; plans for wastewater and waste disposal for <br />102.27 the manufacturing facility; plans for providing electricity, water, and other utilities necessary <br />102.28 for the normal operation of the manufacturing facility; and plans for compliance with <br />102.29 applicable building code and federal and state environmental and workplace safety <br />102.30 requirements; <br />102.31 (ii) all methods of extraction and concentration that the applicant intends to use and the <br />102.32 volatile chemicals, if any, that are involved in extraction or concentration; <br />Article 1 Sec. 48. 102 <br />
