When the number of <br /> units represents a percentage of the city's <br /> metropolitan fair share new modest-cost* <br /> private market housing goal, points will be <br /> awarded as follows: <br /> 10+ percent - 6 points <br /> 6-9 percent - 4 points <br /> 3-5 percent - 2 points <br /> * The council will adjust the unit value and <br /> rent limit for modest-cost housing annually <br /> based upon HUD determined income categories <br /> for the SMSA. <br /> <br /> 10. Alternative Housing T~pes <br /> Municipalities are ranke,~ ~ccording to the <br /> percentage of their total new housing unit or <br /> occupanc~ permits issued in the previous <br /> calendar year for dwelling units bther than <br /> traditional, detached single-family homeS,.. <br /> such as all forms of attached housing, <br /> homes or zerO-lO~ line units. The <br /> municipality mus= have permitted at 1east five <br /> neW units or a number which represents .5 <br /> percent of its housing stock, whichever is <br /> greater. <br /> 11.
