There was money provided in the <br />1981 budget for it. However, the new law requires Council <br />members to do it prior to election. Council members have men- <br />tioned that their pay shoLtld be used to cover mileage, etc. <br />This is not a very good approach to reimbursing Council mem- <br />bers for their costs to cover official functions. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to review and act on the <br />above proposed salaries for 1981. <br /> <br /> <br />
