CASE #3: BUDGET HEARING ON PROPOSED USES OF FEDERAL GENEP~L REVENUE <br /> <br />CASE #4: <br /> <br />SHARING FUNDS IN REGARDS TO THE CITY OF PJ~MSEY'S OPEHATIONAL <br />BUDGET FOR 1981: <br /> <br />Council at their last meeting of December 16, 1980 conducted <br />the public hearing that is required on how Revenue Sharing will <br />be used with the City Operational Budget of 1981. <br /> <br />However, it should be noted that in the two public hearings <br />Council showed the proposed uses as follows: <br /> <br /> $30,000 to be used for the Municipal Center Development <br />*$17,000 to be used for Park Improvement <br /> <br />*Note - The $17,000 for Park Improvement is erroneous as Council <br />has reco~ended that it be used in the Engineering Activity for <br />the hiring of personnel should it be needed. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to change the designated <br />use of Revenue Sharing Funds from Park Improvement to Engineer- <br />ing use as laid out in your 1981 Budget. <br /> <br />ESTABLISHING REC0~NDED PERCENT INCREASES FOR NARKET VALUATION <br /> <br />FOR ASSESSOR: <br /> <br />Council at their November 25, 1980, meeting directed the City <br />Assessor to use 5% in lieu of the Anoka County Assessor's <br />recon~ended 7%. <br /> <br />Council at their meeting of December 16, 1980, added this on to <br />their agenda but failed to act on it. Consequently, it is re- <br />submitted for your action. <br /> <br />Council members should refer to enclosure (D2-c) for informational <br />purposes in acting on this case. You currently have a resolution <br />in affect directing the City Assessor to use 5%. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to note enclosure D2-c and <br />the problems you could incur on the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
