Public Wopks Supt Report - This is one area <br />wher~ we do have a ppoblem because of the lack of man <br />houms and equipment to do the job that we should be doing. <br /> <br /> b. Chief of Police - This coveps the Chief's peport <br />fop police activities in i980. It should he noted that <br />we don't get too good of a response f~om oum citizens in <br />the programs that ou~ police put on to help them out. <br /> <br />Council Action: Youm action on the above peports will be to note <br />that you have reviewed them. I think the budget addpesses as <br />much of Merle's problems as we can afford in 1981. It will <br />have to be a continuing task to see that he is given the p~oper <br />tools to do his job and of course he is not asking for an ovep- <br />nite solution to his work apea. <br /> <br /> <br />
