She stated <br />there would be a delegation of farmers coming in to discuss <br />this matter. <br /> <br />Enclosure (D3-a) information on the Metro Agricultural Land <br />Preservation which Council Members may want to review prior <br />to this meeting. <br /> <br />CASE #2: <br /> <br />BETTY MICKELSON REGARDING DISCUSSION OF PROPERTY: <br /> <br />Ms. Mickelson only stated she wanted to come before CoUncil <br />to discuss property. She didn't want to go into any further <br />details until she discussed it with you. <br /> <br />CASE #2A: AUTHORIZATION TO PAY COUNCILMAN SORTEBERG FOR THE HAY THAT <br /> <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY PURCHASED FROM HIM: <br /> <br />Enclosure (D3-b) contains Clayton Berg's memo dated January 28, <br />1981 to me stating he had to purchase hay to cover our septic <br />system to keep it from refreezing. <br /> <br />Our septic system froze up and we had to dig up and thaw out. <br />At the time it froze up, we first thought it was a pump failure. <br />After we had a plumber check out pumps, then we realized we had <br />a system frozen up. <br /> <br />Council has a policy of not purchasing goods and labor from <br />members of the City Council, however, we have a situation here <br />where I think you ought to authorize it. This purchase saved <br />the City money and time. <br /> <br /> <br />
