MINNESOTA MOTORCYCLE SAFETY CONFERENCE <br /> <br />APRIL 2j 3, lq81 SUI WOOD INN, ST, CLOUD, MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> Because of the increased registrations and licensing of motorcycles, <br />along with the alarming increase in deaths and injuries, the Minnesota Department <br />of Education, along with St. Cloud State University, will be hosting a statewide <br />motorcycle safety conference. By bringing together various groups concerned with <br />making cycling safer for all, a better understanding of various issues pertaining <br />to motorcycling can be realized. This conference will provide an opportunity for <br />ideas and information to be discussed and shared. Conference topics will include: <br /> <br />Licensing Improvement <br />Enforcement Problems <br />Education <br /> <br />Motorcycle Support Groups <br />Voluntary Protective Equipment <br />Insurance <br /> <br />The program will include such well-known speakers as: <br /> <br />Dr. Charles Hartman, President, Motorcycle Safety Foundation <br />Mr. Jim Ouellet, Co-Author, Hurt Study, U.S.C. <br /> <br /> The conference will begin at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 2, and conclude <br />at 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 3. Cost for the conference will be $30. This includes <br />admission to all presentations, conference materials, and meals. The Sunwood Inn <br />has reserved a limited number of rooms for conference participants. <br /> <br /> Registration is limited! If you',re interested in attending, fill out and <br />return the accompanying registration card. A $15 deposit is required to confirm <br />attendance. This deposit will be applied to the total registration fee. <br /> <br /> <br />
