Reason - The City Administrator stated that the above request would really
be a big benefit to the City of Ramsey down the pike. He pointed out that
the data input equipment would give us much more control over things and
it would also reduce our cost to use the Anoka facility. Also by training
Sheila Beyer to operate the data input equipment would at least give the
City a partial backup to indexing bills, payroll and receipts into the
computer if Jeanne Moen were incompasitated for work.
The Personnel Committee stated they didn't have a problem with this request
and it should go before the total Council for review and action.

City Administrator Schnelle stated that the City was going to have to
establishwritten policy regarding snow blowing, cleaning hockey rinks and
maintainlngball fields, etc.

The meeting adjourned at 8:30 A.M.

Respectfully submitted,

Lloyd G. Schnelle
City Admlnsitrator/Clerk

Council Personnel/February 13, 1981
Page 2
