Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #06-03-xx <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING EXCESS EQUIPMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has conducted a review of the existing Police Department <br />snowmobiles; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has determined that there is one (1) snowmobile owned by the <br />City that should be declared excess equipment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has determined that enforcement of recreational vehicles by <br />snowmobile is no longer effective due to recent changes in City Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff intends to sell the snowmobile at auction. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes declaration of the <br /> following snowmobile as excess equipment: <br /> <br /> 1999 _Arctic Cat "Jag 340" <br /> Serial #9904730 <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereofi <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br /> Council this the 28th day of March 2006. <br /> <br />-172- <br /> <br /> <br />
