Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR <br /> THE PARKS LEAD PERSON <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Michael Berge began working as the City's Parks Lead Person on <br />September 14, 2005 and was subject to a six-month probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Berge has successfully completed the required six-month <br />probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its March 28, 2006 meeting agreed <br />with staff's recommendation to end the probationary period for Michael Berge, effective <br />March 14, 2006. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Michael Berge, effective <br />March 14, 2006. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council the 28th day of March 2006. <br /> <br /> G:~Administration~HumanResources~Performance Evaluations~Ending Probation~Berge, Parks Lead, 3-28-06.doc <br />-374- <br /> <br /> <br />
