PC CASE <br /> <br /> CONSIDER ENDING PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br />FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR <br /> <br />Givonna Reed, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />Patrick Tmdgeon was appointed Community Development Director effective January 1, <br />2005. Mr. Trudgeon has successfully completed his one-year probationary period and the <br />City Administrator recommends retaining Mr. Trudgeon as the full-time regular <br />Community Development Director. <br /> <br />Please note that this item should have been presented to the City Council in January <br />2006; however, it is coming forward now due to an administrative oversight. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Based on satisfactory completion of the one-year probationary period, staff recommends <br />that Patrick Trudgeon be retained as the full-time regular Community Development <br />Director. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council adopt a resolution ending the probationary <br />period for Mr. Trudgeon and granting status as the full-time regular Community <br />Development Director. <br /> <br />PC: 3-28-06 <br /> <br />G:XAdrainistration~HumanResources~Performance EvaluationsXEnding Probalion\Tmdgeon 3-28-06.doc <br /> -375- <br /> <br /> <br />
