Citizen Input There was none. Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to close the public heating. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Jeffrey, Elvig, Olson, Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. The public hearing was closed at 7:22 p.m. Council Business Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:23 p.m. Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to introduce an ordinance to vacate the drainage and utility easements contained on Ramsey Dental Clinic Addition and Holaseks Addition. Case #2: Public Hearing: Consider Ordinance to Vacate Drainage and Utility Easement in Highlands at River Park 4th Addition: Case of Jason Peterson Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:23 p.m. in order to conduct a public hearing. Public Hearing Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:23 p.m. Presentation Community Development Director Trudgeon explained that Jason Peterson of Maple Leaf Custom Homes is requesting an administrative subdivision to realign a common property line between two lots that he owns. In order to process the administrative subdivision, it is necessary to vacate un easement along the common property line. The purpose of the administrative subdivision is to increase the area of Lot 10 to accommodate an in-ground pool in the backyard. Maple Leaf Custom Homes currently owns both lots, and seeks to make the adjustment. The proposed change will add approximately 2,380 square feet to Lot 10. Both lots will remain in conformance to City Code. Maple Leaf will be required to provide the City with a replacement easement along the new common property line.
