EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS <br />is <br />0 <br />1) Dump Body: Length - 9 feet; width 7 feet, nominal capacity (struck) <br />3) Snow Plow Equipment: Shall be fitted with a one -way plow, Falls <br />5 c.y. Provide allowance for mounting snow plow equip- <br />ment. Bottom to be not less than 8 -guage steel. Side <br />and ends to be not less than 10 guage steel. Shall have <br />double acting reinforced tailgate with spreader chains, <br />slotted top and bottom. Sides shall be reinforced with <br />box type section braces, one piece corner posts, rein- <br />forced along top edge with formed section and tapered <br />running boards. Cab shield shall be provided. Shall be <br />constructed of high tensile steel. Box on formed steel <br />frame with interlaced construction. All welds shall be <br />continuous with no space for entrapped moisture. Box <br />shall be mounted as low as practicable and clearance be- <br />tween back of cab and front of box shall be adequate to <br />provide clearance for wing post installation and operation. <br />2) Hoist: Heil double acting under body hoist with 8 diameter cylinder <br />and 21" stroke, or an approved equal. <br />model 311, Wausau Model TB 3050A, or an approved <br />equal. <br />Snow Wing: Truck shall be fitted with a front mount snow wing, 10' <br />minimum length. <br />Tailgate Sander: Truck shall be fitted with a rear mounted sander <br />with hydraulically driven roller and single spinner. <br />The sander shall be Swenson Model UA 110, or approved <br />equal. <br />¢) Hydraulic System: <br />Front Engine Power Take Off: <br />Shall be a front crank shaft power take <br />off to include a means for engagement and <br />disengagement by a morse wire PTO cable <br />D302000 -120 or approved equal.
