HIGHLIGHTS <br />. Annual Dinner <br /> <br />The Annual Dinner Meeting of your Upper Midwest Chapter <br />was held at the new Hyatt-Regency Hotel on Wednesday even- <br />ing, April 15, 1981. <br />Thank-you's and accolades were given to outgoing officers - <br />President Sam Marfield, Vice President Bill Tobin, Secretary <br />Garfield Clark, and Treasurer Mary Kay Strangfeld. <br />The newly elected officers were presented to the 120 guests. <br />They are: Bill Tobin, President; Steve Gage, Vice President; <br />Bill Balsiger, Secretary; and Don Woodward, Treasurer. MEMBER TO MEMBER <br /> JACKSON-SCHAUER REPORTS <br /> PROGRESS ON 2 DEVELOPMENTS <br /> Dennis Schauer of Jackson-Schauer, Inc. reports that his firm <br /> is currently developing an 8,000 square foot office building <br /> for lease in Plymouth as well as a 14,000 square foot strip <br /> shopping center in Spring Lake Park. <br /> CuI-Pepper Construction Company recently completed con- <br /> stnsction and leasing of a 30,000 square foot office/'ware- <br /> house at 23rd Avenue and Fernbrook Lane in the Circle <br /> Star Industrial Park. A second building of 30,000 square feet <br /> is scheduled for completion in July of 1981 and is 307b pre- <br /> leased. Development plans for the balance of the site feature <br /> a 60,000 square foot building that will include loading docks <br /> as well as drive-in doors. The'buildings are fini~ed with ap- <br /> proximately 40~ office space and are being marketed by <br /> Jim Wenthold of Neal A. The: project is being <br />developed by the Rosewood Corporation. . <br />Gary Nordness, Vice President of thc firm, annbunced that' <br />Building 1 is 96% leased· Construction is scheduled to be- <br />gin on Building II in May of 1981. Building I1 contains 38,000 <br />sqbare feet, of which 65% is pre-leased. Construction of a <br />third pre-leased office building with 34,000 sqbare feet is <br /> scheduled to begin in July, 1981· . ,.. <br /> The development firm also has a 48,000 square Toot multi- <br /> tenant office/warehouse under construction at Bass Lake <br /> Road and International Parkway in the Science and Industry <br /> Park in New Hope. The Buildirrgis-25%-lea'sed'and will-be--'- <br /> ready for occupancy in June, 1981. Another 28,000 square <br /> foot office/warehouse is planned for the same park. <br /> <br /> <br />
