Jones c) certificate of mailing d) public hearing notice e) Proposed findings of fact f) Planning and Zoning minutes dated ~ay 4, 1981 g) Proposed agreement Based on the findings of fact and the Planning and Zoning recommendation we would recommend you approve this request contingent upon Mr. Jones entering into an agreement with the City. Your action will be to approve/disapprove of the request and to approve/disapprove/amend the proposed agreement and findings of fact. SEALCOATING OF CERTAIN CITY STREETS: Due to both economic and scheduling problems the sealcoat- lng that is included in the capital improvements budget and various Public Works reports has been delayed for the past couple years. Some of these areas are desperately in need of this type of maintenance. 'The City Engineer and the Public Works Director have submitted a recommendation in regards to this matter. Please refer to enclosure (D3-e). Please note that we feel that a project of this magnitude be assessed to the benefited property owners. Should you desire to participate in the cost as you have indicated in the past. you may, we would recommend you par- ticipate by doing the patching required prior to the actual sealcoating. Your action should you desire to proceed with this project is to adopt a resolution Ordering a Feasibility Study as well as adopt a resolution Accepting the Feasibility Study and Calling for a Public Hearing. These hearings should be scheduled for a special meeting to be held Tuesday, June 30, 1981 as other public hearings will be scheduled for that evening. Note - The sealcoating of various State A~id streets will be also included in this proposal. This should be financed out of construction funds as recommended by our City Engineer.
