CASE #6: <br /> <br />CASE #7: <br /> <br />REQUEST COUNCIL AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE AND ACCEPT <br />APPLICATIONS FOR ONE PUBLIC WORKS ~PLOYEE: <br /> <br />Public Works Director Mevissen is requesting authorization <br />to advertize and accept applications for a public works <br />employee as budgeted for in the 1981 budget. He is mking <br />this request due to the fact Mr. Richard Buchite has indi- <br />cated he will be retiring in October. If he does, in <br />fact retire then it is essential another employee be hired <br />as soon as possible to fill the position. <br /> <br />Enclosure (D3-f) is a memo from the Public Works Director <br />making his request for the public works employee. <br /> <br />Your action will be to approve/disapprove of the request. <br /> <br />INFORMATIONAL: <br /> <br />Enclosure (D3-g) is for the Council to read and note in <br />the minutes. <br /> <br /> <br />
