Councilmsu Reimann stated the additions should be stsked before <br />the project goes any further. Mayor Gamec suggested tabling <br />until this could be done. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilwoman V~u <br />Wagner to recess public hearing until the City can get staking done <br />and the City will send out another notice mailing with date and <br />time, June 30th at 7:30. <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gsmec, Coun~ilamn Reimann, Council- <br />wom~u Van Wagner, Councilman Cox and CounciLman Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING RECESSED AT 8:36 p.m. <br />8:37 p.m. - MEETING C~TJ.k"D TO ORDER FOR'PUBLIC HEARING <br />RE: STREET I~PROV~ENT PROJ~CT #81-2 157TH LANE N.W. <br />City Engineer Raatikka made a presentation for thisproject and <br />asked if there were any questions. <br />Resident Marie Pierce, 6740 159th, asked if there is a mistake who <br />pays for it. ~ayor Gamec stated we have to put the road where it <br />belongs, if there are construction problems the problems go back <br />to the construction people. -?.~'f~. <br />Resident James DuSharm, 6925 157th, asked about easements. City <br />Engineer Raatikka stated the City wo~d purchase easements for <br />drainage. Resident asked how much frontage would be taken off. <br />City Engineer stated 60½ feet additional. <br /> <br /> Resident Mr. Confer, 6914 157th asked if project doesn't go, when <br /> will it come in. Mayor Gamec stated if you don't want it we won't <br /> do it. Councilman Cox stated you are in an isolated area and <br /> if you don't want it theCouncil will not encourage it. <br /> Mayor Gamec asked for a vote from the citizens, one person per household <br /> voting.. 1. In favor of project: Vote: 0 2. Against project: Vote 6. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Counc51msn Cox to close <br /> the public hearing. <br /> Motion carried.
