That portion of the north half of Section 19 lying northeasterly of the Burlington Northern Railroad; all of Section 18 except the two properties (25 acres and 7.875 acre parcels not owned by General Mills, Inc.) on the west edge of the City; the west quarter of Section 17; and the west half of the northwest quarter of Section 20. We feel this land should be zoned [NB (which we understand will include office parks, light industry, motels and allied activities). This will be necessary in order to keep all of the City's options open and maintain the greatest amount of flexibility which will be needed to attract high quality private enterprise. Further, this would give the City the highly desirable b~ classification on its western environs. 4. The proposed ~nicipal Park on the north and-east side of Lake Itasca containing approximately 250 acres. We feel that a park desig- nation at this time is premature since parks should be located in such a way as to best serve the City's citizens. It might well be desiraSle to have 'some park setting on this property at some time in the future, but only after planned development of the entire parcel occurs. We would be grateful if you would favorably consider the above requests, and, of course, we will be available to appear before the Council and Plarming Commission to amplify our remarks in the event you so desire.
