8.35 <br /> <br />Regulation of Single Family Dwellings to be Moved into or <br />within the City <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. <br /> <br />Definitions <br /> <br /> Single Family Dwelling Unit or Dwelling - means pre-existing dwelling <br />structures and manufactured housing to be located in other than a mobile home park. <br /> <br /> Subject Property - means the parcel of real property on which the <br />dw$1Iing is to be located. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. State License Required. No person shall move, remove, <br />or raise any dwelling with/n the limits of the City without a license to do so from the <br />State of Minnesota. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. City Permits Required <br /> <br />A building permit issued by the City is required to move a dwelling <br />into or within the City. <br /> <br />In addition to the building permit, a Dwelling Moving Permit <br />("DMP") is required to move a dwelling into or within the City if <br />any of the following apply: <br /> <br />1. The destination of the dwelling is within the City. <br /> <br />The origin of the dwelling and its destination are within the <br />City. <br /> <br /> Subd. 4. Exemption to DMP. Prefabricated flamed panels for <br />dwellings approved by the State of Minnesota are exempt from obtaining a DMP. <br /> <br />Subd. 5. Procedure for Obtaining a DMP <br /> <br />An applicant seeking to move a dwelling within or into the City shall <br />be required to file an application and deposit with the City an escrow <br />fee in an amount established by Council resolution. The application <br />shall be signed by the applicant and joined in by all fee owners of the <br />Subject Property. <br /> <br />b. The application shall provide the following information: <br /> <br />A description of the dwelling to be moved in or within the <br />City, including dimensions, construction materials, condition <br />of exterior and interior, and photographs. <br /> <br />58 <br /> <br /> <br />
