REQUEST FOR BID PROPOSAL - MAMA PAGE THllEE To analyze, describe and summarize job evaluation data compared with distribution of current compensation and external survey data; to determine discrepancies between: job evaluation results and current compensation; job evaluation results and external survey data; current compensation and external survey data. SCOPE OF: WORK : 8. To recommend strategies for dealing with discrepancies noted in the preceding analyses in order to comply with the Comparable Worth Act and to establish equitable pay relationships for all benchmark jobs based on "reasonable relationships" considering both internal and external comparability. (This would include recommending options for compensation levels for benchmark jobs and options for implementing procedures to achieve pay equity.) 9. To meet reporting requirements to the State Commissioner of Employee Relations as directed by the statute. 10. To maximize potential acceptance by unionized and nonunionized employees, exclusive bargaining agents and elected officials; to minimize employee dissatisfaction; to minimize the possibility of litigation. The bid proposal should include a complete work plan address each of the action items included in the following study components: to Study Planning and Management 1. 0 Describe the planning and management structures recommended by the consultant to manage and complete the study. (The role of the consultant in interacting with the cities to plan and complete the work should be clearly defined.) Identify individuals to be assigned to study components. A "reasonably balanced" team of male and female professionals is a requirement made by the proposer. Indicate on what basis consultant replacements, if any, are to be made.
