The total <br />negotiated amount for these parcels is $18,623.96. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to approve the <br />completed acquisitions for properties along the NW sanitary sewer alignment. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Pearson, Cook, Elvig, Jeffrey, <br />Olson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Mayor Gamec directed staff to look into itemizing billings to indicate the <br />funds and parcels affected in relation to these acquisitions. He indicated a letter received from <br />the Dvorak's in regards to the easement for Drainage Ditch No. 66 will be entered into the <br />record. <br /> <br />Case #14: Approve Field Use Agreement and 2006 Field Maintenance Fees <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood stated the purpose of this case is to approve the field use <br />agreement for PACT Charter School; and 2006 athletic field maintenance fees for both the youth <br />athletic group(s), and the school. Mr. Riverblood reviewed that the PACT Charter School has <br />requested that they receive some assurances that they may use the park space adjacent to their <br />building, which is presently referred to as South Park, as part of their daytime programming. <br />This use was predicated on having a suitable agreement that protected the City's interests, while <br />insuring that PACT can count on programming the space during school days with limited <br />conflict. Mr. Riverblood advised staff believes that the attached Field Use Agreement achieves <br />these goals. He reviewed the following key elements of the draft agreement: <br /> · The agreement has the appropriate indemnification and insurances clauses and requires <br /> criminal background checks for those overseeing youth activities on City property. <br /> <br />City Council / March 28, 2006 <br /> Page 25 of 31 <br /> <br /> <br />
