He stated he had requested it be moved to the west to be on the
developer's property.

Community Development Director Trudgeon stated that they looked at that, but it would require
going through the wetland if they brought the road to the west.

Associate Planner Dalnes noted that the wetland they are talking about is not on the property, and
the conflict with Wolverine and the wetlands is offthe subject property.

Mr. Tomaszewski asked why they did not just fill in the wetland.

City Engineer Jankowski indicated that because of the Wetland Conservation Act it says it
wetland can be avoided, it must be avoided.

Vice Chairperson Johnson stated that what Mr. tomaszewski surfaced is a reasonable issue, and
the question is if there is a reasonable way to change it now.

Community Development Director Trudgeon indicated that even if they moved it all the way to
the west, there still might be desirability to have a stub road where it is shown.

Mr. Tomaszewski asked if the C'ity then intended to extend Wolverine into his property.

Community Development Director Trudgeon stated there is no plan to extend Wolverine onto his
property.

Vice Chairperson Johnson added it is also possible that the City could vacate that stub and move
it west if it develops in a way that the west connection makes more sense.

Mr. Tomaszewski indicated that Kelly Acres is going to have sidewalks in front of his property,
and asked if he would have sidewalks, since this is a deep ditch.

Vice Chairperson Johnson called a brief recess at 9:50p. m. He stated
there is no logical reason to let them into Ramsey. He indicated that it was their City Council
who said let's do this and the developers who came in and see the opportunity, and it could only
have been done because there is money to be made. He stated it is absolutely wrong, and the
City Council let the people of Ramsey down. He indicated he thinks it would be logical to keep
the density where it was at one acre or two and a half acres to keep the feel of Ramsey the way it
has been. He stated that the City Council did not represent the City of Ramsey, and did not
represent the people. He indicated that the voice of the people will be heard.
