Absent: Commissioner Van Scoy. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Public Hearing - Request for Interim Use Permit to Maintain Two Dwellings <br />on One Parcel; Case of Michael and Nancy Benz <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 7:51 p.m. in <br />order to call the public hearing to order. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt called the public hearing to order at 7:51 p.m. <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Frolik explained that the City Code states that there <br />shall not be more than one main building on a lot unless otherwise provided for in City Code. <br />Mr. and Mrs. Benz own and live at the property at 15410 Hematite Street. The home on the <br />property was constructed in 1967 and the Benz's are proposing to demolish the home and <br />construct a new home on the property. They would like to live in the existing home while the <br />new one is being constructed.
