-2- <br /> <br /> METFIOD <br /> <br /> The parties are here~y providing for the establishment of a task force to carry out <br /> the purpose set forth above. The task force shall be known as the Anoka County <br /> <br /> Geographical Information System Task Force, hereinafter referred to as "Task Force". <br /> JOINT POWERS PARTICIPANTS AND TERM <br /> <br /> Anoka County and any city or township located wi~thin Anoka County are eligible to <br /> participate in this joint powers agreement. The conditfons of this joint powers agreement <br /> shall be effective as to an eligible participant when the joint powers agreement has been <br /> executed by the duly authorized representatives of that party. Each party hereby <br /> cee~[ifies that authority to enter into this Agreement has been established by a duly passed <br /> resolution of its respective governing body. This agreement shall commence when it has <br /> been duly executed by a minimum of four parties, each of which has a population of at <br /> least 10,000 based on April 1, 1957, Metropolitan Council population estimates, and shall <br /> continue until terminated as provided herein. <br /> <br />IV. TASK FORCE <br /> <br /> 1. Membership. <br /> <br /> The governing body of each party shall appoint one person from its staff to <br /> <br />serve as a member of the Task Force and one person as an alternate to serve in the <br />absence of the appointed member. <br /> <br /> 2. Term. <br /> <br /> Ail members shall serve at the will and pleasure of the appointing authority. <br /> <br />The appointing authority shall notify the Anoka County Administrator of the member and <br /> <br />alternate appointed to the Task Force and of any changes to the appointment. <br /> quorum. <br /> <br /> A majority of all appointed members shall constitute a Tasl< Force quorum. <br /> <br /> <br />
