-3- <br /> <br /> ~eetJn~s~ <br /> <br /> The first meeting of the Task Force shall be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, <br />May 9~6, 1988, or on the third Thursday of the month in which the agreement takes effect, <br />whichever is later, at the Fridley City Hall, 6431 University Avenue N.E., Fridey, <br />Minnesota 55432.~ At the first meeting, the Task Force shall elect a chairperson, and shall <br />adopt rules of procedure for its operation. <br /> <br /> 5. R ~commendations. <br /> <br /> Recommendation by the Task Force of'. a specific GIS system including <br /> <br />hardware and software will require agreement between the County and the cities and <br /> <br />townships party to this Agreement. <br /> POWERS OF TASK FORCE <br /> <br /> The Task Force shall have the following powers and responsibilities: <br /> <br /> to determine the direction of GIS in Anoka County and establish county-wide <br /> <br />standards; <br /> 2. <br /> <br /> to engage a consultant to determine uses, system configu:ations: &nd cost <br />- estimates, to develop a request for proposal for the GIS, to assist the Task Force in <br /> recommending a GIS system including hardware and software, and to assist the Task Force <br /> in the acceptance process of a GIS system; <br /> 3. to accept donations from private sources for payment of costs associated with <br /> the GIS system pursuant to an appropriate resolution adopted by the Anoka County Board <br /> of C.o..~ missioners; <br /> 4. to make a recommendation to the governing bodies of the parties on a specific <br /> GIS system including hardware and software; <br /> 5. to provide guidance for the operation of a county-wide GIS, including the <br /> exchange of information between the parties. <br /> The Task Force will select the consultant based on interviews conducted with <br /> potential consultants. <br /> The Task Force will recommend a GIS system including hardware and software. <br /> Prior to the recommendation of a GIS system including hardware and software, each <br /> Task Force member will consult with the mernb~'~ <br /> <br /> <br />
