PLANNqNG AND ZONING OD~gflSSION <br />FJBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANCKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on <br />~i!~e~3ay, April 5, 1988 at the Ramsey M~nicipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. <br />N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota regarding Mr. George Carlson and River's Bend <br />Properties' request for preliminary approval of a planned unit devalol~nent. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Roy Shut, ay <br />}%r. Michael Terry <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Charles L~Due <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Develounent Director Anne Norris <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mr. Jim Holm <br /> Mr. Jim H(~ell <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the public hearing to order at 8:05 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. George Carlson, Mr. Lyle McLaughlin and Mr. Rick Foster were present. <br />Mr. Carlson stated that he is requesting preliminary approval of a planned <br />unit development to develop a 32-unit apartment building just south of the <br />Food 'n' Fuel on Hwy. #47. <br /> <br />Ken Ritchey - 3611 Coolidge - Inquired as to the building setback frcm City <br />of Anoka boundary and the ordinary high water mark. <br /> <br />Mr. Carlson - Replied that DNR has approved the setbacks. <br /> <br />Mr. Reatikka stated that the setback fr~n high water mark is about 112' and <br />about i00' frcm the Anoka boundary. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Terry to adjourn <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Notion carried.
