I <br />� Hakanson SECTION 2 <br />In Anderson PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br />Ford Brook Estates 3rd Addition Street Reconstruction <br />This project area consists of Barium Street NW and i8oth Avenue NW within the Ford Brook Estates 3rd Addition <br />subdivision. These roads currently utilize bituminous curb for drainage and the pavement is deteriorating in the <br />drainage path. The design will analyze replacing the bituminous curb with concrete curb and gutter to improve the <br />drainage and extend the life of the pavement. <br />Section Unplatted Street Reconstruction <br />This project area consists of Waco Street NW, from 179th Lane NW to the municipal border, and also includes Waco Drive <br />NW, from Waco Street NW to the municipal border. It is contemplated that the City of Nowthen will also reconstruct <br />the segments of Waco Street NW and Waco Drive NW from the municipal border to the north simultaneous with the City <br />of Ramsey. These roads currently utilize bituminous curb for drainage, which is in poor condition, and the design will <br />analyze replacing the bituminous curb with concrete curb and gutter to improve the drainage and extend the life of the <br />pavement. <br />Project 2 IP4*24-05 Municipal State Aid — Xkimo Street <br />This project area consists of the reconstruction of Xkimo Street NW, from the cul-de-sac near Bunker Lake Blvd to <br />Highway 47. Xkimo Street currently utilizes concrete curb and gutter and storm sewer to convey the stormwater runoff. <br />The concrete curb and gutter will be evaluated and damaged portions and/or panels that have settled will be scheduled <br />for replacement. This project will require detailed traffic control and staging plans due to the business and local traffic, <br />as well as the signalized intersection and median at the Highway 47 intersection. This road is a Municipal State Aid <br />Route and the plans will be prepared in accordance with MnDOT requirements such that Municipal State Aid funding <br />may be utilized. <br />PROJECT UNDERSTANDING 3 <br />
